October meeting
Last Sunday was our Church of Craft meeting. We had it at our house and it was really fun. Our theme was Halloween, but not everyone worked on Halloween projects.
Our snack table was very Halloween, though!! I made a Spooky Dessert.
Here it is chillin' in the fridge before everyone arrived.
Here is the final dessert. The ground is made of Oreo cookies, but under that is a pudding, Cool Whip, and Oreo mixture. Check it out...
Behind the Spooky Dessert is a couple of cheese plates.
I sliced the cheese with my Halloween mini cookie cutters to make them festive!
Here is the Spooky Dessert Recipe:
3.5 cups milk
2 packs of 4 serving size instant pudding
1 tub of 12 oz Cool Whip
1 16 oz Oreos, crumbled
Pour cold milk into a large bowl. Add pudding mixes. Stir in 3 cups of Cool Whip and add half of the cookies. Spoon into a 9x13 pan and sprinkle with the remaining cookies.
Refrigerate for 1 hour or until ready to serve.
Decorate with tombstones (I used Milano Cookies) and Cool Whip ghosts. Lettering on the tombstones and faces on ghosts are made with black gel icing.
Elizabeth brought a great pumpkin shaped spice cake. Look how cute !!
Yummy!

October meeting
We are finally holding a Church of Craft again. This time it will be on Sunday, October 14 from 2-5. We would like it to be at our home, so please bring your craft project and a goodie to share, if you are so inclined. My friend Jo suggested Halloween crafts, so bring some holiday crafts to work on. We will have plenty of inspiration around!! Please send a message for directions to our house.

April Meeting
We had a really good meeting a few weeks back. Our friends Elizabeth and Rita came. They both knitted some. Elizabeth also made some collaged bird magnets. Rita knitted a scarf. Molly was there and knitted a very fancy shawl. It was looking good at the Church!
Here I am making a pompom bunny. I started a white one and then a grey one. I still have not finished them, so I will get back to you on that.
Raoul sewed some cute ice cream cones to be revealed at a later date.
Cindy came to hang out, too. She shared some really nice strawberries. Later on a local celeb showed up and bought some antiques.
I think we ended up at Ryan's for dinner that night.
What a full day!
