Stick Bugs and Crafts
Our last meeting was way back in September! So Sorry for the late post! As Raoul and I put our supplies in the car, we found a walking stick bug hanging out on the car! I picked it up and placed it in a nearby tree.
What happened at our last meeting? Raoul sewed more and more fangs, if I remember correctly. Leanne knitted, too. I worked on some stuff for my art shows.
Elizabeth worked on some new Christmas goodies. She brought her pal, Rita, who knitted!

Our Last Meeting
We had such a productive meeting. Elizabeth came and worked on some Christmas garlands of felt stars and candy canes. It looks so cute!
Our newest flock member, Leanne, knitted a scarf for her kitty, Salvador. I hear her kitty loves wearing things! Ben is here, too. Maybe next time he will bring a craft to work on with us!
Raoul worked on some more of his plush fangs. He is working his way to one hundred fangs for our gallery show coming up in November.
I worked on some beaded necklaces again. I also cut out about 20 raindrops for the Youngblood show in November.
Thanks for the snacks, too. Next time we will have to have more cookies!

New Crafty Peeps
The Church of Craft Athens welcomes Elizabeth and her daughter, Clare, who joined us at the last get together. Elizabeth made the sweetest little bunny toy that was inspired by a vintage bunny she bought at an antique shop in Savannah, while Clare beaded.
It was alot of fun crafting, talking to Paul, and meeting new people. I cut out lots of little pink and blue birds while Raoul sewed some new plushie ideas. Dave had his embossing kit and went to town.

Squarey is ready!
Finally! Here is my Squarey pillow! I just finished sewing, attaching the arms and legs, adding the eyes, and embroidering the mouth. I think she came out cute. This is a detail of her face. This is my first Church of Craft project I completed. I am so thrilled!
Look how adorable Squarey Cotton Candy looks hanging out on my bed.

Kraft and Crafts
Today's Church of Craft was held at the popular Athens spot, the X-Ray Café. I got a good deal of knitting done - both arms for my Squarey pillow. How I can't wait to finish her! Raoul sewed ten pouches and started a small bunny from one of my patterns.
